Code of Ethics

The Code of Ethics of Bonifica Autocisterne, in line with Iren S.p.A.'s Code of Ethics, is the tool that defines the set of ethical values and responsibilities of the company. It also identifies the behavioral rules that should guide management and internal and external relationships. Compliance with the code also helps to prevent the risk of committing offenses under Legislative Decree 231/2001 in the specific activities carried out by Bonifica Autocisterne.
Adherence to the contents of the Code of Ethics by all those working for Bonifica Autocisterne is fundamental to the proper functioning, reliability, and reputation of the company. The Corporate Social Responsibility Department of Iren is responsible for promoting the knowledge, dissemination, and ensuring the updating, interpretation, and implementation of the provisions of the Code of Ethics. Ireti sets the criteria and procedures to reduce the risk of violations of the Code, promotes and monitors the awareness and enforcement of the Code, and ensures that every report of a violation of the Code is evaluated, with appropriate sanctions applied based on the facts.

Whistleblowing Reports

If a person bound by the Code of Ethics becomes aware, due to their role, of violations (even potential ones) of the Code of Ethics, they must promptly make a detailed report, which may be anonymous, to their superiors or to Iren's Internal Audit and Compliance Department via email at InternalAudit@gruppoiren.it.

 

These channels ensure the confidentiality of the identity of the reporting person throughout the handling of the report.
If the report is made to a superior, the latter must refer it to the Group's Internal Audit and Compliance Department.
If the report is sent to Iren’s Internal Audit and Compliance Department, the Director of the department will conduct a specific investigation, the results of which will be reported to the CEO of Bonifica Autocisterne and shared with the Chairman, Vice Chairman, and CEO of Iren SpA, each of whom will take appropriate action.

 

In any case, Bonifica Autocisterne ensures that those who make reports are not subjected to retaliation, discrimination, or penalization, whether directly or indirectly, as a result of their report, thus guaranteeing the appropriate confidentiality of such individuals.
